- biographical name
an intimate associate of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. He is one of the members of the pañca-tattva. He embodies Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s internal potency and is a manifestation of Śrīmatī Rādhikā. After Mahāprabhu accepted sannyāsa, Gadādhara Paṇḍita accompanied Him to Purī-dhāma. He used to recite the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam for the pleasure of Śrī Gaurāṅga. Mahāprabhu wrote a śloka in His own handwriting in Gadādhara Paṇḍita’s Bhagavad-gītā. After Mahāprabhu’s disappearance from this world, Gadādhara Paṇḍita could not bear the pain of separation. He departed from this world eleven months after His disappearance
